If you’re just passing through on your way to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park or the picturesque Cabot Trail or if you want to stay longer to regain energy and explore the Village on the Canal with its beautiful surrounding nature and all its inviting events, we welcome you with open arms.



We love to make you feel at home.

We can offer you two suites and five rooms.

Our two suites are generous two-room apartements, with a seperate living room and a built-in kitchenette, rounded off with great amenities and a great view on the Atlantic Ocean. One suite comes along with a Kingsize and the other with two Queensize beds.

Our five rooms are arranged in different colors and styles. They are available with one Kingsize, one Queensize or two Single Beds and include an ensuite bathroom with a shower. In some of the rooms the small sitting area includes a comfortable couch, usable as a sleeper couch for additional guests. TV and coffeemaker are ready for your pleasure.

Events and sights

You will never be bored.

In St. Peters and the surrounding region are a lot of events that could be interesting for you.

For example the Music Camp on the Canal, the Nicolas Denys Days, Swim the Canal or the St. Peters Pirate Days, a very special event for landlubbers and buccaneers.

In October you can enjoy the yearly and well known event "Celitc Colours" all around Cape Breton Island.

In addition to that there are many sights, which are worthwile for a visit. For example the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site or the Glenora Distillery and much more!

Or just enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature at the Cape Breton Highlangs National Park, on the world famous Cabot Trail, on Isle Madame and much more beatiful spots around the area.

The Yellow Seabird B&B Inn is located at the heart of St. Peters, well known as the "Village on the Canal". Right beside the Highway 104 (crossing Grenville St. / Pepperell St.) the yellow building catches the eye, no matter from which direction you will arrive.
